W203 Subwoofer install. Hello fellas.I have Mercedes W203. Will fit in a 2008 CLC which is based I believe on the W203.I would like to install a subwoofer. Hey all, Im going to be installing my 100w fusion sub in the back of my 203 coupe this weekend but have been reading up about installation for the last week. The sub was originally fitted in my old rover 25 but took it out before i sold the car obviously. So the sub has the full wiring kit with it. It is also an active sub so has a built in amp and as i have an aftermarket kenwood headunit fitted i will just be taking the rca out feeds from the stereo so no wiring into speakers needed.

A i have a few questions which i hope somebody on here will be able to answer: 1. Bosch esi tronic 2014 keygen serial. The power cable has an inline fuse fitted to the cable and which is rated at 30A. I think this indicates that it will draw too much to take a feed off a fuse box in the boot.

Is the only other way to run the cable through the firewall directly to the battery? (In my rover i took a direct feed from the battery also but the firewall was a lot easier to get through) 2. What is the best route for feeding the cables from the boot to the stereo? Down the side of the car or through the middle? Where can i get through the firewall to feed the power cable through?

Well i managed to get it fitted. Got a call back from another auto electrician that i had tried earlier in the week and he quoted me £40 for the whole job and he was available to do it as soon as i wanted so i went round there as soon as i finished the fone call.

He took one look under the bonnet and spotted a single grommet right next to the bracket for the bonnet above the battery. No need to remove the battery at all. A few minutes passed and he already had all the trim off and was feeding the power cable through the grommet into the car. If i had noticed the grommet above the battery i probably could have managed the rest as this was the main problem i had. When i get a chance tonight i will get a couple of pics of where the grommet was and where it came out inside the car.

Hopefully this will be of some help to people wanting to do a similar thing to me as i trawled for hours trying to find a thread showing a route through the firewall and even ventured over to some of the other forums to find an answer.
